YOUR BUDDY, UP TO DATE

Download and update MyDeskBuddy for Windows

Already purchased? Download the Windows setup anytime using your existing private receipt. Updates do not require another payment.

Latest Windows version: 0.14.0+32

Adds Superstar, a third Jailer-inspired companion matching the supplied teal jacket, maroon shirt, sunglasses and black boots reference. Includes all reminder action animations, articulated walking and clean transparent outlines on light and dark desktops. Select Superstar in Settings > Your companion. Your reminders, settings, license and imported characters stay in your local profile when you update.

1. Download using your purchase email

Open the private receipt from your license email, or request a fresh receipt link above using your purchase email. Choose the Windows download on that receipt. You do not need to buy another license to download or reinstall.

2. Close Buddy before installing

For an update, right-click the MyDeskBuddy icon in the Windows system tray and choose Exit. Closing the main window alone keeps reminders running in the background.

3. Run MyDeskBuddy-Setup.exe

Follow the setup wizard. Use the same Windows user account for an update. If installation cannot complete, contact support with the message shown on your screen.

4. Open your updated buddy

Setup upgrades the application files. Your reminders, settings, license and custom characters stay in your local user profile. Male, female and Superstar companions ship by default; you can import your own artwork in Settings on each computer.

A first installation asks for your license key and purchase email. To move to another Windows PC, deactivate online on the old PC before activating the new one. Everyday reminders continue to work offline.

Check for updates in the app

Open Settings → Updates to check the official release information. Automatic checks are optional and require internet. Checking does not install or run a download automatically.
